Well I guess I can start at the beginning huh?
I have always had a thing for science since I was a little girl. In high school I got all A's in chemistry and other science classes. When I graduated high school I attended college and majored as a Pre- Medicine Undergraduate. I was on a long journey to becoming a doctor and owning my own practice. In late 2011 I started to have trouble with my vision and eyes and thought is was due to the fact that I need new glasses. Long story short, in 2012 I was diagnosed with brain tumor. Well as you probably imagine I was devastated and this put a halt to my career in science. I had to leave school and work and man did I get depressed.

One day I thought I would cheer myself up and make some cupcakes. I was a pretty good baker but I wanted a specific recipe. I got on YouTube and typed in "Easy cupcake frosting". In the suggestion list I saw a video by a lady name SoapQueen and she was making Melt & Pour cupcake soaps?!! What are those? So with curiosity I clicked and watched the video and from that day forward I was completely hooked. I literally watch the whole channel in a day.

I thought that this is very interesting and would love to know more about it. So I researched and watch more videos when I came across a science method to make handmade soap. Science you say?!! With lots of research and purchasing necessary equipment and ingredients I got to take this science and try it out for myself. I fell in love with science all over again. It wasn't my dream science but it was challenging and it was fun!! Now here I am a year later, healthier, and opening a business so I can share my science experiments and handmade creations with the world and I hope to have fun doing so. Hope you have fun with me. I now know that all my dreams were not crushed just transitioned.
